This gorgeous floral turban headband is handmade by women who've survived trafficking in India. Each one is made from upcycled fabric scraps

Good Things:

  • Sewing New Futures is a non-profit that educates, employs, and empowers women to make their own choices. They work with women and girls in India and Uganda that have survived or evaded sex trafficking and poverty

Sustainable, empowering and striking, this hair turban is sure to be a favourite! Handmade from excess fabric from making clothes in the SNF workshop, these lightweight georgette scraps have been turned into fabulous accessories.

Hand-sewn by female survivors of trafficking in New Delhi. Making these products helps them and their families with employment, education, legal support and access to health care.

Each headband is handmade from lightweight georgette crepe fabric and elasticated at the back to keep it in place
