A Very Good (Things) 2024

Reminiscing on our 5th Year as Good Things!
With 2025 just around the corner, we'd like to take a moment to reminisce on all the Good Things we achieved in 2024...
This year, we were delighted to expand our collection by offering goods from seven new organisations, reaching a total of 40 suppliers! We're delighted to now champion goods from: Pebblechild, Gogo Olive, Inflatable Amnesty, Lanka Kade, Circular & Co, Fruu and David & Charles.
Our Good Things gifts can now be browsed in person at our new brick and mortar store in Sparks Bristol. Located in the heart of Bristol, Sparks is known as the 'department store with a difference' and is home to a range of sustainable shops, events and now our very own Good Things store!
This year we helped 3,175 customers - in store and online - and issued 93 gift cards! Your support not only means the world to us, but helps us protect the world, too. Our revenue lets us do Good Things, like donating 3.5 acres of land through the World Land Trust Buy an Acre program. This secures endangered forests in Ecuador, Mexico, Belize, Brazil and Argentina into reserves that will be protected forever.
We were honoured to be awarded a £10,000 grant from Hatch Enterprise, in partnership with NatWest. This was invaluable to the progress we made this year: supporting our investment in the shop space, developing our gift lines and expanding the Good Things team.
Speaking of awards, we won 3 this year! It was a delight to receive The 42 Under 42 Award, The 42 Under 42 Sustainability Award and The Let Toys Be Toys Award - hooray!
We're so grateful for all of the Good Things we experienced this year.
Ultimately, we couldn't do any of this without you. Thank you for believing in our mission. Thank you for giving back to people and the planet. Thank you for making Good Things happen.
