These gorgeous hexagonal mats are made from recycled bottle tops covered in printed cotton! Made by and empowering young women in Uganda
Good Things:
The Paul Hodges Trust is a charity that works to tackle poverty in sub-Saharan Africa. They focus on breaking the cycle of poverty through empowering women and girls living in some of Africa’s poorest communities
These mats are handmade in Uganda under Fair Trade conditions - every product is unique!
100% of the revenue The Paul Hodges Trust generates is reinvested in the charity, enabling them to empower more women with the skills and income they need to escape poverty
Made from recycled materials: these mats are made from leftover fabric and plastic bottle tops which would otherwise have been thrown away
Striking, unique and planet-friendly too! These beautiful handmade mats are made from materials otherwise destined for rivers and dumps in Uganda. Young tailors upcycle waste bottle tops and leftover cotton fabric into these fabulous new products. These mats enable young women to earn fair incomes to support themselves and their families.
The Paul Hodges Trust invest their earnings into girls’ education and women's empowerment in Ghana, Uganda and Sierra Leone.
What you get:

Hi Will,
Thank you so much for leaving feedback on our needle felt Sir David Attenborough decoration. We're really sorry to hear that it didn't meet your expectations and doesn't resemble the photo as you were hoping. This is one of our more popular decorations and customers are normally very happy with these items. We're happy to offer an exchange for a different David Attenborough, or to refund this for you. We will email you to arrange this.
With very best wishes,
Lucy
